What it does
- The fish — a record for each one, with photographs over time, so growth and markings can be compared against last year rather than remembered.
- The water — test results kept in one place, where a drift in ammonia or pH shows up as a line rather than a surprise.
- The filter — what each stage is, when it was last cleaned, and which stage is due.
- Feeding — a schedule that matches the season, with what was actually fed on any given day.
- The weather — the forecast for where the pond is, because pond keeping follows the temperature.
Where it is up to
A personal project, in development, currently being tested on Android. It works offline: everything is kept on the phone, and an account is optional — that is for syncing between devices and keeping a copy if the phone is lost.
Privacy
Short version: no ads, no analytics, nothing sold or shared for marketing, and the pond's location never leaves the phone except to fetch a weather forecast. The privacy policy says exactly what is stored, where, and what happens when an account is deleted.
